A robust, multi-purpose corrosion resistant luminaire from Thorlux is suitable for use in food factories, car parks, industrial process areas, public areas, and prisons. T5 lamps and internal Miro aluminium reflectors are fitted to focus and direct the light efficiently and effectively. The internal reflectors also increase luminous intensity at all angles without compromising the upward light element of the luminaire.

Smart versions of the A-LineXL have integral intelligent lighting control. Each luminaire contains its own Smart Micro-pod, an intelligent, programmable lighting controller. This provides maintained illuminance, daylight linking, PIR control, and infra-red remote control.
