Laser technology sets new security standards
06 July 2009
The LMS 120 Laser Sensor from Sick allows high accuracy sensing with minimal error for security and presence detection indoors, avoiding false signals from dust and even allowing installation behind glass.
The sensor will deliver major benefits in security applications due to its ability to avoid false signals, its broad usability and competitive price.

Laser technology sets new security standards
Double pulse evaluation technology enables the LMS 120 sensor to eliminate distracting minor beam reflections such as dust in the air or on the sensor surface.
Competitively priced, the LMS 120 is a short to medium range (up to 20 metres) laser sensor, with wide 270˚ detection fields. It eliminates the need for transmitter / sensor pairs and the expense of associated wiring, is easy to mount and set up on site and can be precisely configured for up to ten defined fields.
