As part of its increasing international representation, Baseefa has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA).
This will allow KOSHA to continue issuing local Korean Certification (the KCs Mark) based on Baseefa ATEX Certification, as well as through the international IECEx Scheme.

Baseefa keeps it Kosha
As part of its increasing international representation, Baseefa has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA).
Baseefa managing director Ron Sinclair explained: "A recent change in Korean legislation restricted the type of input KOSHA can use for local certification, and having this agreement means that all forms of Baseefa documentation can continue to be acceptable.
"We have been debating the exact terms of the agreement with KOSHA for a number of months, and I am very pleased that we have been able to agree a format which will achieve maximum versatility for Baseefa’s customers."
As part of the worldwide IECEx Certification Scheme, Baseefa already has direct access to a large number of certification bodies throughout the world. Outside Europe, it helps its customers to gain certification in Australia, Canada, China, Russia, Singapore, the USA as well as Korea. In addition, it has special agreements with the USA (Factory Mutual); Russia (for GOST-R with Nanio-CCVE); Korea (KGS) and China (NEPSI).
Baseefa also has a partner laboratory with Karandikar Laboratories PVT Ltd. in India, which works directly with the Buxton-based company to their procedures, giving access to the vast Indian market. In addition, Baseefa has its own representative in Singapore to assist customers in South East Asia.
