Singapore headquarters established to act as hub for Asian operations

Dutch based company Procentec has joined forces with Profibus and Profinet experts in Asia to establish a regional Procentec Competence Center. The operation is responsible for developing and supporting the industry in South Asia, South East Asia and Oceania for the entire range of Procentec products, training and services.

The operation is responsible for developing and supporting the industry in South Asia, South East Asia and Oceania for the entire range of Procentec products, training and services. ingapore has been chosen for the location of the office, being well positioned towards the region and its main industry players, underlining the importance of Singapore as hub for Asia operations.
We are very excited about this new operation, said Dennis van Booma, general manager for Procentec in The Netherlands. Procentec have been providing superb products, training and services for Profibus and Profinet technology over the last 12 years. The operation in Singapore will allow us to better support regional automation engineers, enhance our training and services portfolio and provide quicker response to our customers in the Asian region.
The organisation in Singapore will be under the management of Henk Schaake, who has been involved in Profibus technology since the mid 1990’s. Schaake has worked several years in Singapore prior to this appointment and currently acts as Advisor to the Board for Profibus. A key position within his team is taken up by Mr. Dominique Chabauty, who will be responsible for all marketing and technical matters. He currently holds the position of President within the Profibus Association South East Asia.
