Harrogate based Flow-Mon has launched an ATEX approved version of their i-Mon flow monitoring system. The i-Mon system produces a precision 4...20mA output in proportion to flow, using a patented, non-contact sensor technology.

Hundreds of the original i-Mons have been sold all over the world since their launch in 2007 and have helped Flow-Mon boost sales and win an export award from UK Trade & Industry. Flow-Mon plans that the ATEX version will boost sales still further.

This adds to the range of components that can be added to their Flow Monitors, that can be installed in any orientation, with a wide range of body materials, threaded (BSP or NPT), and many flanged connections available. From Mechanical Indication of flow, other switch and output options can vary greatly according to customer specifications.
