A complete suite of HART-enabled gas and flame detectors is available from General Monitors. These safety instruments protect employees, equipment and facilities from the dangers of hydrocarbon gases, toxic gases, oxygen depletion and flames. The detectors are designed to detect combustible gas in the lower explosive limit (LEL) range, the company’s compact IR400 Infrared Gas Detector offers fail-to-safe operation for high reliability. The S4000CH Combustible Gas Detector, designed for use with General Monitors robust catalytic bead sensors also protects against explosive gas in the LEL range.

The HART-enabled S4000TH H2S Detector guards against the hazards of hydrogen sulfide gas with metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) sensing technology. The TS4000H Toxic Gas Detector is designed with galvanic isolation that allows hot swapping of electrochemical gas sensors to detect a wide range of toxic gases as well as oxygen depletion.

The FL4000H Multi-Spectral IR Flame Detector is HART compatible, designed with neural network intelligence for superior false alarm immunity and features a wide field of view over a long range. The company’s FL3100H UV/IR and FL3101H UV Flame Detectors are also HART compatible and suitable for a wide range of flame detection applications.
