Photoelectric sensors withstand high-pressure wash down and caustic substances

24 November 2009

Balluff's BOS 18E range of IP69K stainless steel photoelectric sensors are designed for the food production. Sealed to IP69K and machined from a single piece of solid stainless steel these sensors have no recesses that form dirt traps. Washdown situations like food production, or where caustic substances that may corrode or melt standard photoelectric sensors enclosures and lenses are ideally suited to this sensor.

Available with a high impact resistant plastic lens they also have a laser etched part number instead of wrap around stickers, never losing the sensors identity.

The BOS 18E range offers the opportunity to extend the life cycle of your sensors to areas where sensors have previously suffered from water ingress. Available in diffuse, retro-reflective and thru-beam this M18 photoelectric offers a cost-effective solution to your waterproofing problems
