BM Polyco, has been awarded the full ISO14001:2004 certification following approval of its environmental management system.

Polyco adopts environmental and socially responsible policies in all its operations and sought to meet the respected industry standard as part of its ongoing commitment to reduce its impact on the environment.
BM Polyco is working with its supply partners to ensure conformity with environmental, social and ethical standards. For example, the company is currently looking at packaging and logistics to see if more products can be packed per crate to reduce transportation and limit carbon emissions.

"BM Polyco is known for delivering high quality products and high standards of customer service and this is something we wish to mirror in our environmental efforts," commented Jo Sharman, Business Services & Quality manager at BM Polyco. "Our objective is one of continued development, there are always areas where we can improve and we are working with bodies such as the Carbon Trust and internally to ensure that we do."
BM Polyco’s environmental management efforts are penetrating all levels of operation. Its modern built factories are environmentally controlled as too are its main offices based in Enfield.
Office air conditioning and high-tech motion-detection lighting is programmed to time-out or switch off when not being used. BM Polyco’s approach benefits from the full support of its staff members who recently embraced a new recycling bin scheme. Staff now recycle materials from paper and cardboard to aluminium cans and plastic bottles with the aim of eventually recycling more than 50% of all office waste.
