Axair ‘ATEX’ fans- General purpose and equipment ventilation

Axair Fans UK distributes ATEX compliant fans, manufactured by Rosenberg Ventilatoren GmbH for general purpose ventilation and ATEX equipment.

All Rosenberg ATEX fans are IP44 compact dimensioned external rotor motor, located in the airstream, speed controllable and fitted with triple PTC thermistor temperature sensors.

Rosenberg ATEX motors are either EEx-e increased safety type for Category 2 Zone1 installations, or non-incendive EEx-nA for Category 3 Zone2 purposes only. All motors are suitable for use with T3 class gasses only capable of spontaneous ignition at temperatures above 200°C

The range includes single inlet centrifugal fans, with airflows up to 4700m3/h and pressure to 590Pa. The smallest fan is Ex II 3G IIB T3 (X) for Category 3 Zone2 installations, whilst all others are Ex II 2G IIB T3 (X) for Category 2 Zone1.

The Rosenberg range of double inlet centrifugal fans has airflows to 7500m³/h and pressure to 620Pa. All fans in this range are coded Ex II 3G IIB T3 (X) for Category 3 Zone2.

Rosenberg offers an in-line duct fan with Æ315 inlet and discharge spigots with a maximum airflow of 1150m³/h and pressure to 240Pa, coded Ex II 3G IIB T3 (X) for Category 3 Zone2.

Rosenberg also offers a range of plate or cased axial fans available to Æ630 impeller made from conductive PVC, with airflows to 11000m³/h. The fans are Ex II 3G IIB T3 (X) for Category 3 Zone2, with plastic coated steel inlet rings to prevent contact sparking.

Finally, Rosenberg offers ATEX roof extract units and rectangular in-line duct fans for general ventilation.
