Turner retired as SATRA Chief Executive in 2009 and served as Chairman of TCI/69 for 34 years.
The BSI TCI/69 technical committee establishes and maintains a suite of standards for footwear, leather and coated fabrics. It shadows the work of European committees CEN/TC289, CEN/TC309 and CEN/TC248/WG4, as well as international committee ISO/TC45/SC4.
