Enhanced shotbolt solenoid lock

Electromagnet subassembly development specialist, Magnet Schultz, has released MkII of its Type 63 shotbolt solenoid lock. The re-engineered MkII version of Magnet Schultz’s hugely popular Type 63 shotbolt delivers a range of features including IP65 weatherproofing, CE conformity, and the integration of Magnet Schultz’s electronic Over Voltage Control to offer more powerful actuation.

The enhanced shotbolt version offers a robust steel frame and brushed aluminium casing, and deploys a 15mm diameter stainless steel bolt with an integral lip seal for IP65 compliance. It is available in fail-safe (energise-to-lock) or fail-secure (spring-to-lock) configuration, and is operable from either a DC or AC supply.
With its ISO 9001 manufacture and life-tested rating to over 1 million operations, the Type 63 shotbolt is ideal for a wide variety of industrial and security applications including access doors, security vehicles, shutter grilles & gates, lift mechanisms, industrial interlocking and machinery guards.
