Non corroding IP 66 pressure switches
21 September 2010
Tamo has released a range of Orion pressure switches with transparent polycarbonate cover for use in severe applications. All the externals are of non-corroding materials such as stainless steel and polycarbonate. The wetted parts are 316L St St and Teflon, which make these switches suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The sensing element is a non metallic nylon reinforced rubber diaphragm. The switches are therefore rugged and suitable to withstand surges, with minimum drift and a very long life. The switches can also be provided with 316L St St diaphragm. The internal set point adjustment cannot be easily tampered with and the actual setpoint is visible externally. The standard micro switch is rated at 5amp 250VAC with other options available.
These IP 66 pressure switches are suitable for a wide range of OEM applications as well as applications in chemical plants, water treatment plants, dyeing industry, cement plants, steel plants or areas where there is excessive dust or harsh environments.
