The 3501has a pressure rating up to 350 bar and meets the requirements of specialised industrial applications where corrosive and aggressive liquids have to be accommodated. Rated as one of the highest pressure pumps in the Cat Pumps range, the 3501 is ideally suited to applications such as hydrostatic pressure testing of vessels and pipes, flushing through small instrument lines and for high pressure chemical dosing.

Providing high efficiency and low pulsation, the 3501has a maximum flow rate of 34 litres/min and keeps all the features of the 3507, including durable custom V-Packings which are lubricated and cooled by the pump liquid.

"The arrival of the 3501 pumps fills a demand in our range of pumps for specialised applications that involve liquids including high salinity salt water and chemical solutions, which previously were not accommodated by the nickel aluminium bronze pump," said Cat Pumps UK general manager Brian Hubbard. "We have also produced a version of the higher flow capacity 3517 in Stainless Steel, this being the 3511. Both pumps are now available from stock here in the UK."
