Baseefa acquires respected consultancy

Baseefa has bought out one of the country’s most respected specialists in electrical and safety engineering. The acquisition of ASA Consulting Engineers of Lowestoft, Suffolk, was hailed by Baseefa’s managing director Ron Sinclair as “a very significant step forward.”

“ASA is a well-respected organisation in training and consultancy in the hazardous area field, and we are delighted to have have acquired the company and its expertise,” said Ron. “This particularly applies in the field of training, where ASA has been providing valuable and well-attended courses for over 20 years.”
Among the other fields in which ASA has specialised are:-
- Hazardous Area Classification and Risk Assessment, including significant work in the oil and chemical industries
- Investigations and Studies into operation, safety and failures
- Audits and Surveys into new legislation and quality systems
- Site and Equipment Inspections and Record Systems
- Advisory Services, especially related to the use of electricity in hazardous areas
