A Masters graduate who gained his degree with a dissertation on the use of robots with Global Positioning Systems is the latest recruit to Baseefa Ltd, world leaders in Ex product certification.

Rob Holloway, aged 24, from Howden, South Yorkshire, joins the company as a trainee certification engineer, based at its Buxton headquarters. Rob gained his degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Hull University, and says he is looking forward to working with Baseefa.

"I put my CV up on a recruitment website and was contacted almost immediately by Baseefa. I have been made very welcome and I am pleased to be working with such a well-known company in its field."

Ron Sinclair, Baseefa's managing director, said he had been impressed by Rob's ability to express himself and technical ideas. "We have interviewed a number of graduates recently, and Rob stood out as the best."

Rob was born in Tean, near Stoke-on-Trent and was educated at Cheadle and Buslem Technical College before his father, a project manager in a test laboratory himself, moved to Howden. Rob took a fast-track to his Masters degree at Hull, and has now settled into a rented house in Buxton.
