All approvals are obtained on the basis of the latest explosionproof standards from world renowned certifying organisations. However, today’s products are not only certified in accordance with ATEX 94/9/EG but also to IEC-Ex, ExGost (Russia) and CSA/FM Canada and USA. Importantly, the spring return range of electric quarter turn actuators are approved for use in safety related systems according to IEC 61508 up to and including SIL2
