They have global approvals including ATEX, IECEx, UL and CSA. They are also approved as pieces of equipment in their own right for Exe and Exd applications.
Kopex-Ex stopping plugs, tripled certified to ATEX, IECEx and UL, are suitable for Exe and Exd applications. They can be installed into other equipment without the need for those products to be re-tested. Brass, nickel-plated brass, stainless steel and nylon versions are available. Users have a comprehensive choice of metric NPT and PG thread types, in standard, dome head, hexagonal head, standard and tamper proof versions.
