Three companies said to be interested in Coryton refinery

10 February 2012

None of the parties involved have confirmed these reports, with negotiations still in progress.

Vitol is reported to have sold a cargo of crude oil to Coryton last week to get an idea about how any agreement would work. BP supplied an earlier shipment, and another is needed this weekend if the refinery is not to close.
