Casella to show CEL-960 human vibration meter and newly enhanced CEL-630 sound level meter
13 February 2012
Casella CEL products on show at IOSH 2012 will include the lightweight CEL-960 Human Vibration Meter specially designed for measuring ‘hand-arm’ (HAV) and ‘whole-body’ (WBV) vibrations, according to the requirements of European Directive 2002/44/EC, and the newly enhanced CEL-630 Sound Level Meter with added ‘voice recording’ functionality.

The CEL-630 sound level meter now has voice recording
Exposure measuring for HAV or WBV vibration is made exceptionally simple with the compact yet robust CEL-960, having just one button to operate the unit. The device can also be operated remotely via Bluetooth to a laptop or tablet PC so that the person doing the measurement does not get in the way of the machine operator whose exposure is being measured, allowing a better quality of data to be collected.
Fully compliant with standards ISO 8041 (2005), ISO 5349 (2001) and ISO 2361 (1997), the CEL-960 comes complete with transducer, desktop charger, dB96 wireless remote control software, carrying case, CD and documentation.
At the cutting edge of occupational noise monitoring, Casella CEL has recently made a series of exciting enhancements to its CEL-630 sound level meter. Amongst the latest modifications is the addition of voice recording, which has a number of uses and applications including the ability to record voice notes before or after a measurement, allowing the operator to annotate a measurement without needing to write anything down.
Incorporating the latest digital technology, the CEL-630 has a single measurement range of up to 140dB, with no set-up adjustment required when obtaining and viewing different noise parameters.
Casella CEL’s high performance instrumentation includes real-time dust monitors, personal sampling pumps, sound level meters, noise dosimeters, gas detectors and VOC (PID) monitors.
