ADIPEC Awards 2012 open for nominations

ADIPEC, the leading oil and gas event for the MENA region, has announced that its Excellence in Energy 2012 Award programme will be open for nominations until July 15. As the crown event for ADIPEC 2012 in Abu Dhabi, the Awards will recognise organisations that have been the most successful in setting new standards of excellence within the MENA oil and gas industry.

There are six categories of awards open for nominations which will recognise projects contributing to knowledge-based technology and fostering a culture of local innovation:
• Best MENA Oil & Gas Project
• Best MENA Oil & Gas Innovation or Technology
• Best MENA Oil & Gas HSE Project or Initiative
• Best MENA CSR Initiative
• Best MENA Oilfield/Gas Field Management Strategy
• Best International Oil & Gas Project

Categories are open for new projects that have recently become operational, along with existing projects that are being significantly upgraded and implemented. 

All projects, except the International Category, must be located within the MENA region and must have been implemented between December 2010 and June 2012.

ADIPEC is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition center between November 11 and 14, 2012. The Excellence in Energy 2012 Award winners will be announced during a Gala Award Ceremony/Dinner on 11 November 2012, hosted by ADNOC.  

The Opening Speech will be presented by H.E. Abdulla Nasser Al Suwaidi, Director General of ADNOC.
