On the same day, two people were injured in an explosion at the CHS grain elevator in the nearby town of Tracy.

A CHS spokeswoman said it happened in equipment for loading and unloading trucks and rail wagons on the site. One employee suffered minor burns and a non-employee truck driver was also injured.

CHS is working with local authorities and the state fire marshal's office to determine the causes of these explosions.
