Arco secures new PPE contract with BAE Systems

Arco, the UK’s leading safety company, has announced a new three-year contract to supply PPE, work wear and workplace safety products to defence contractor BAE Systems. An on-site dedicated Trade Counter has also been established at BAE Systems’ Portsmouth facility, giving employees the flexibility of trying and selecting equipment as and when it is required.

This new contract cements a long-standing partnership between the two companies spanning over 50 years during which time Arco has supported BAE Systems in its commitment to protect its staff of almost 35,000 working in the UK in diverse markets such as aircraft manufacture, shipbuilding, cyber security and munitions.

With many of BAE’s employees working in high hazard environments, Arco provides a dedicated expert team of people who understand the risks they face and can provide advice and guidance on product selection.
