Balluff EX and Namur High Pressure inductive sensors, up to 500 bar

EX Category 3 protected M12 and M18 inductive sensors with oil high pressure ratings of 350 bar and 500 bar are available from Balluff. Additionally the M12 size also includes NAMUR high pressure sensors for use with a switching amplifier outside the EX area.

Typical applications are end-of-travel monitoring on hydraulic cylinders and position detection on valves. The sensors have a stainless steel housing for excellent corrosion resistance and strength, IP68 degree of protection and a temperature rating down to minus 25deg C. Electrical connection is via the industry standard M12 plug with a complete selection of PUR oil resistant cables available.

The sensors form part of the Balluff ' Special Properties ' range which also includes - Stainless steel faced for strength to resist impact by the sensor target, Ultra high temperature resistant for temperatures up to 160 deg. C, IP69K for steam jet cleaning resistance and Weld and magnetic field immune for interference proof operation against magnetic AC and DC fields.
