HazardEx 2014 Conference & Exhibition

Our Ex-products are developed and designed in accordance with the current norms and guidelines and are certified by accredited testing boards.

Our programme ranges from high impact Ex signal beacons and signal towers to Ex rated horns and sounders.  WERMA EX rated products can be used in gas and dust explosion endangered areas (Zone 1 and 2, Zone 21 and 22).

On display at the show this year will be the brand new range of compact LED beacons offering permanent, flash and rotating LED light pictures as well as the enhanced attention grabbing EVS flash.  The new range gives an extended life of typically 50,000 hours and the beacons are approved for use in zone1, 2 as well as 21 and 22.  Additional protection for the beacon can be afforded by the fitting of an additional wire guard

The new compact beacons are 139mm in diameter and 214mm high compared with the classic which are approximately twice as large.  The new range therefore provides increased options in terms of installation and capital cost.

Ex signal devices can be found in a huge variety of applications. Refineries, filling plants, sawmills, furniture factories, mines, grain mills, granaries, cement works, hospitals in general, the chemical and petro-chemical industries and the food-technology sector.
