Georgin SSC temperature probe connection system

30 April 2014

Georgin’s new SSC (Speed Sensor Coupling) allows temperature probes to be attached to a thermowell through a patented connection system. This attachment is made without tools, thus facilitating maintenance and testing, and the sensor can remain electrically connected while the attachment is taking place.

Once in place, the probe can be rotated through 360°.

The design is adapted to the material and manufacturing process of the head and thermowell. The attachment is made from stainless steel.

Thermal conductivity is ensured by maintaining the measuring element at the bottom of the thermowell.
