The MICA ML-808 ATEX is the latest in high-powered Ex handlamps

The new MICA ML-808 ATEX from ATEXOR Oy is a worthy successor to the popular MICA ML-800. Advanced features in an improved construction offer users more flexibility and safety in tough situations.

ML-808 ATEX uses high power CREE® LED with two power modes. High-power mode delivers over 100 lumens, while the low-power mode beams 25 lumens. Users can boost the light output or drop it down to extend battery life. Total operating time on a full charge ranges from 4.5 up to 15 hours.

Sporting a familiar look and resistance to extreme conditions, the MICA ML-808 has a redesigned interior with new electronics making service easier and generating a better, smoother light. This truly pocket-sized hand lamp can be used in EX Zones 1 & 2 (gas) and Zones 21 and 22 (dust). Strong belt clip and wrist strap are standard equipment. Naturally ML-808 includes same functions as its predecessor e.g. LED-bar indicator to battery capacity, deep-discharge prevention and low-battery warning. The tempered glass 3.2mm lens is nearly unbreakable and resistant to scratches and most chemicals.

Optional operation functions include emergency mode (EM) like the previous model, in addition to a blink mode (BK). The new ML-808 can be used in old existing MICA MLC chargers as well as the new chargers which can be mounted in vehicles or to the mains (with MICA IL-2 adaptor).
