The HORNET EM 1LED revolutionizes the way of thinking in work safety. Each unit has a back-up battery providing power to a new dual-purpose EM function, completely changing portable lighting for hazardous spaces.

The advanced electronics in the rechargeable battery control unit help the EM function generate strong light when the main power supply is lost. The EM function provides an additional safety feature by flashing at 15-second intervals when there is a power outage. This serves as an effective visual alarm letting workers know they need to get out.

The HORNET EM 1LEDs has a significantly longer lifetime and cheaper service cycle thanks to the high-power LED module. And with Atexor’s SafeEye® technology, despite high lumens output, you can work at ease. The soft, gentle light allows you to look in any direction, even directly at the light. Thanks to the built-in EM function in each unit, you have an easier solution for your emergency escape plan with the SLAM HORNET EM 1 LED. All lights stay on when the main power supply is lost, ensuring workers can exit safely under sufficient illumination. If you have a designated exit, use the SLAM Hornet EXIT 1LED with the customary green ‘EXIT’ sign to mark the exit.

Used as a terminal light or linked in chains, you can connect the HORNET EM 1 LED to 110V or 230V mains power or use a transformer, like the SLAM TRANS 200EX or 400EX, to supply safe 24V and 42V extra low voltage input in hazardous confined spaces.
