BSIF Safety Awards 2015 - Winners announced

On June 23 the British Safety industry Federation announced the winners of the BSIF Safety Awards 2015 to an audience at the Safety & Health Expo in London’s ExCel. There are BSIF Safety Awards three awards categories: Product Innovation Award, Service Award and Safety Excellence Award.  

Commenting on this year’s winners, BSIF CEO, Alan Murray said: “On behalf of the BSIF, I would like to congratulate all the winners of this year’s awards. Each winner successfully demonstrated their commitment to excellence in terms of delivering first class health and safety products and services.”

The winner of the BSIF Product Innovation Award was 3M for its Organic Vapour Filter End of Service Life Indicator. Honeywell and Arco were Highly Commended and both Casella and Safety Apps were Commended.

The winner of the BSIF Service Award was Capita Health Safety and Environmental Consultancy. Simon Safety’s Head Office and West Midlands Branch were Highly Commended and both Arco East Midlands and The McOnie Agency were Commended.

The BSIF Safety Excellence Award, based upon case studies submitted by members and  recognising major improvements in occupational safety created in 2013, went to Brammer and The Royal Mint for a project to rationalise the use of safety gloves on site and ensure compatibility and safety for employees. TLI Group was Highly Commended.
