The fire that badly damaged London's Cutty Sark tourist attraction was probably caused by a vacuum cleaner, accidentally left switched on over a weekend, a Metropolitan Police inquiry has found. At the time of the fire, a renovation team was removing dust from below the decks of the vessel using equipment which was not fit for purpose.
