The THT-EX explosion-proof light features advanced dimming and sensor capabilities, enhancing both energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. By automatically adjusting brightness based on environmental conditions and usage patterns; or turn-on and turn-off the light with sensor function, it not only reduces power consumption but also lowers overall operational costs, making it a smart choice for reliable and economical illumination in hazardous environments....
THT-EX's LED explosion-proof lights have recently passed rigorous testing by UL Solutions, demonstrating their ability to operate for over 1,000 hours in high-temperature environments of 100°C (212°F) with an average lumen maintenance rate exceeding 93.5%....
In manufacturing and industrial settings, power outages are more than just an inconvenience; they're a real threat to safety and productivity. The challenges are even more significant in environments with hazardous materials, where proper lighting fixtures isn't just necessary – it's crucial. THT-EX has developed a range of explosion-proof luminaires with emergency lighting (battery backup) to ensure darkness never compromises safety or efficiency....
A 2005 federal study found that birds migrating across the Gulf at night can become disoriented by the brightly lighted oil platforms and circle them for hours, often until they exhaust themselves and fall into the sea and die....
US President Joe Biden recently announced a US$7 billion investment in establishing hydrogen hubs. This policy is one of the largest investments in advanced manufacturing in US history. Hydrogen energy can largely replace fossil fuels and reduce carbon dioxide pollution, which is a big step forward for the United States to get to its net zero emissions goal no later than 2050....
At present, many organisations utilise conventional lighting like HPS and MH lamps. However, these light sources with large wattages can only provide the required lighting brightness after a period of time, as they need to be warmed up to reach the working temperature. They are also not energy efficient and have a high failure rate....
Today’s electronics industry is booming with new technology and the use of chemicals on the rise. In order to achieve innovation and accelerate supply, the manufacturing process must constantly be improved. While new technology has improved the working environments of the industry, many industrial safety issues have also arisen which can cause loss of life, property damage, and pollution....
As companies continuously seek strategies to reduce operating costs, the demand for lighting solutions is also changing. Many customers now choose to reduce the number of lighting fixtures but increase the wattage for each, as a way to decrease the overall installation and maintenance costs....
Energy saving and carbon reduction is a global issue and trend. Mercury lamp, HPS lamp, MH lamp are actively being replaced by LED lights due to their energy saving performance and longer lifetime. For less visited hazardous areas, THT-EX has launched LED Light with a Sensing Device to automatically control the illumination. We hope to help more industries create an energy-saving environment and reduce electricity costs!...
Driver Failure is quite common in high temperature environments due to the limitation of the driver. The highest operating temperature for the LED driver is usually 85°C/185°F, but with the heat that are contributed from the high-temperature ambient and from the LED chips, driver failure process will be accelerated and create a shorter maintenance cycle for the LED lights....
